In a world increasingly defined by global connections and opportunities, the Faculty of Psychology and Economics at an esteemed institution has carved a new path for its students to explore, learn, and grow far beyond the familiar confines of their campus. This fall, a select duo from the Management major will embark on a journey to Prague, Czech Republic, to participate in an exchange program at Newton University, thanks to the Erasmus+ project. With the application deadline looming on March 30, 2024, the race is on to seize a transformative educational experience.

    Exploring New Academic Horizons

The opportunity to study abroad represents more than just a change of scenery for the ambitious students of Psychology and Economics. It’s a chance to immerse themselves in the rich academic and cultural tapestry of Prague, a city renowned for its historical landmarks, vibrant culture, and academic excellence. The Erasmus+ project at Newton University promises an enriching semester from September to February, where students will not only advance their studies but also engage with a diverse community of scholars and peers from around the globe. Eligibility for this coveted experience requires a strong academic track record, with an average grade of 9 or above, and proficiency in English at level B2 or higher. As the gates to this opportunity open, only students from specific faculties and semesters are invited to apply, underscoring the program’s exclusivity and the competitive nature of the selection process.

    Charting the Application Process

The journey to Prague begins with a meticulous application process designed to identify students who are not only academically capable but also ready to embrace the challenges and rewards of studying abroad. Interested candidates must navigate through the initial application phase, which involves submitting a comprehensive form accessible via the university’s official announcement. This step serves as a gateway to further engagement with the Czech university system, where the final selection will be made. With only two spots available, the selection process is anticipated to be highly competitive, highlighting the importance of early and thoughtful preparation by applicants.

    Looking Beyond the Academic Adventure

While the academic benefits of the exchange program are clear, the broader impact on students’ personal and professional development cannot be overstated. Engaging in a semester abroad cultivates adaptability, cross-cultural communication skills, and a global perspective that is increasingly valued in today’s interconnected world. For the fortunate students who will walk the cobblestone streets of Prague this fall, the experience promises to be a milestone in their academic journey and a stepping stone to future opportunities. As the application deadline approaches, the anticipation and excitement among the students are palpable, each hopeful of securing their place in this unique academic adventure.
