Anna is the Assistant Director of Education Abroad.

Anna joined the office in March 2023. Her interest in international education began as a SUNY Geneseo student, when she studied abroad for a semester at Rhodes University in South Africa. Not having traveled much before, her experience opened her eyes to the transformative power of education abroad, and international travel broadly speaking.

After receiving her B.A. in International Relations from Geneseo, Anna went on for her M.A. in International Education and Development at the University of Sussex in the UK. She then worked on the inbound side of study abroad in Dublin, Ireland. After, she returned to the SUNY system as an Education Abroad Advisor at Binghamton University, before starting at UB. As a native Rochesterian, and a huge Bills fan, she’s excited to be in Buffalo!

Professionally, Anna is particularly interested in diversity, accessibility, and inclusion in education abroad and has served on Diversity Abroad’s Education Abroad task force. She has also been active within SUNY’s Consortium for International Education and is currently the chair of their Marketing Committee.

On a personal note, Anna loves reading, running, cooking, trying new foods, and traveling.
