NEW DELHI: Educational Testing Service (
ETS
), the world’s largest educational assessment, research, and measurement organization, has opened its first-ever test centre in the
Kashmir Valley
. The test centre is located at Hashtag Educational Services in Regal Chowk, Srinagar, and offers easy accessibility to test-takers.
This is a significant development for
study abroad
aspirants in the region, as it is the first time that a global assessment organization has set up a dedicated testing facility in Kashmir. This will eliminate the need for students to travel to other states to take the
TOEFL
and
GRE
exams, which can be a time-consuming and expensive process.
The test centre is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and adheres to stringent test security protocols to ensure a seamless testing experience for all test-takers. ETS India plans to further invest in partnering with agents and educational institutions in the Kashmir region to support local students in their study abroad journeys.
