To be eligible for this scholarship, the application should exceed the minimum admission entry requirements of the University with consistently high academic performance (first-class honours degree).
Eligibility criteria
— Students should have an offer letter (conditional or unconditional) for any postgraduate programme at Loughborough University.
— The candidate should be domiciled in the country listed on the university’s official website, including India.
— Candidates should possess a first class honour degree or other evidence of academic excellence.
— Students should have commitment to the development of their home country after graduation.
— Candidates should be a high calibre graduate with personal, intellectual, and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership and driving sustainable change within communities.
— Applicants should have a clear understanding of the financial cost of studying and living in the UK.
— Candidates should provide evidence of strong motivation and initiative to secure funding to cover their remaining costs involved.
Loughborough University’ Global Impact Scholarship
This award supports postgraduate international students studying at their University by offering to cover 50 to 100 per cent of their course fee/ tuition fee for a year. It will be awarded to any postgraduate student enrolled in their eligible master degree courses.
However, students should remember that this scholarship excludes applicants’ travel and maintenance cost. Applicants must prove they can cover these costs (bank statement / sponsorship letter from relative ) in their application. This scholarship supersedes other scholarships or bursaries that the university offers.
