New program alert – you can now spend a semester studying with AIFS Abroad at LCI Barcelona, a renowned design school in Spain!

Located in the vibrant city of Barcelona, this program offers students an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Spanish culture while they study visual arts and design abroad.

    Why Barcelona?

Barcelona is a city full of life, history, and culture. It’s home to some of the world’s most famous works of art and architecture, including the Park Güell, the Sagrada Familia, and the Gothic Quarter. The city’s Mediterranean climate and stunning beaches also make it a perfect destination for students looking for a balance between academics and fun!

    Academics: Fall + Spring Semester

Known for its innovative programs and world-class facilities, LCI Barcelona attracts talented students from all over the world. With AIFS Abroad, you can spend your fall or spring semester studying visual arts and design at LCI Barcelona. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including design studios, darkrooms, and digital labs.

Here are some highlights of our fall and spring semester program at LCI:

    • Each course is 3 or 4 credits
    • Program fee includes up to 14 credits (you can take more credits for an additional fee)
    • Not required to take a Spanish language course (although we highly recommend it!)
    • Most courses taught in English, some available in Spanish

The AIFS Abroad program at LCI Barcelona is open to students from all majors and academic backgrounds. Students can choose from a large selection of courses that cover topics such as design, animation, photography, and management of creative industries. Most courses are taught in English, but students will have the opportunity to improve their Spanish language skills through language classes and other activities.
