These scholarships are worth £4,320 towards tuition fees for two ‘outstanding students’, the official website states.
To be eligible for the scholarships, candidates must be an overseas student for fee purposes. They should have an academic offer from the University of Sheffield to study the full-time LLM (includes Sheffield LLM, LLM Corporate and Commercial Law and LLM International Law and Global Justice pathways), and should have an application number.
Candidates need to complete the International LLM Scholarship application form, including a 2,000 word essay to apply for this scholarship. The essay topic is ‘Law alone cannot address all social problems. Discuss.’
Scholarship applications will be considered together with your application for admission. Successful applicants will be notified before the end of July 2024.
The University of Sheffield, UK ranks at 105 in the QS World University Rankings 2025, with an overall score of 59.1. The varsity has over 11,000 international students with 46 per cent of those on the undergraduate level, and 54 per cent on the postgraduate level. The approx tuition fee for international students is 21,500 GBP.
