Spend a semester or academic year in one of the world’s most exciting cities while taking a variety of course options at the University of Westminster. With accommodations and courses located throughout Central London, you’ll have endless opportunities to explore and make new memories.

Here are some of the highlights of our semester program at the University of Westminster in London:

    Why London?

As one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan cities in the world, England’s capital city is a fantastic study abroad destination. There’s just so much to explore and experience in London! From iconic landmarks like Big Ben and the London Eye to its buzzing theater and entertainment scene, you’ll never run out of things to do. The range of courses offered on this program is truly impressive. Whether you’re interested in liberal arts, business or computer science, there’s something for everyone. And if you’re majoring in fashion at your home institution, you can even take theory modules from the Fashion Business Management degree program.

You can earn up to 16 credits during the fall or spring semester. Students can select from a wide range of courses across different academic areas including:

    • Liberal Arts and Social Sciences

The University of Westminster has world-class facilities including art, design, audio, film and TV studios. Their dedicated architecture, art and design spaces include specialist workshops for wood, metal, molding, casting, photography and ceramics, and a new cutting-edge digital Fabrication Laboratory that offers a suite of 3D printers and laser cutters.

    Cultural Activities + Trips

Studying abroad isn’t just about hitting the books. Your program also offers an array of cultural activities and trips.

Past activities, tours and visits in London have included:

The AIFS Abroad Westminster program fee includes day trips to iconic British places like Stonehenge and Salisbury, Cambridge (Fall semester only) and Oxford (Spring semester only). The University of Westminster Student Union also offers a range of clubs and societies for students to follow their interests, try out new hobbies and meet local students.

Students studying abroad in London will have housing options on both University of Westminster campuses. One campus is located on Regent Street in the heart of London and the other is in Harrow, a nearby suburb in outer north-west London. Rooms are single occupancy with a shared kitchen.

    On-site Support
