MARQUETTE — This year’s scholarship recipients were recognized at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Marquette. Recipients are graduates of Marquette Senior High School and attend Michigan institutions. A total of $13,500 was awarded from the Club’s Trust Fund. The club first began providing financial assistance in 1921 with a loan. Now, support is provided by the earnings from the Fund’s assets of approximately $230,000 for five bachelor degree students and two associate degree students.
