For our study abroad programs to be equally accessible for all students and to be able to provide financial aid, Elmhurst utilizes a Home School Tuition Model for study abroad. With this policy, tuition for a semester or year abroad will mirror a semester or year on campus: For long-term study abroad programs, students maintain full-time status at Elmhurst and pay tuition as if they were attending classes on campus. This allows students to retain their financial aid during their semester or year abroad. Please note that the Home School Tuition policy does not apply for summer study abroad programs. Generally, students…

Besides the regular trad music session at the Burren Bar, the town sits quietly on County Clare’s Fertile Rock.Ballyvaughan made me slow down, see the intricacies of each plant around me and acknowledge the smallest forms of life. Ireland — especially the Burren — holds the environment in high regard: one can’t pick uncommon flowers or leave their trace. I like to believe I understood my connection with nature before my trip to Ireland, but my course exposed me to a new facet of my dynamic with the planet —…

They developed solutions via innovation and entrepreneurship under the guidance of Professor Erik Sander, Ph.D., the executive director of UF’s Engineering Innovation Institute. This month, Sander took another group of UF students to…
